'Batwoman' Scores Her Own 'DC' Title Batwoman, whose civilian identity is Kate Kane was reintroduced to the DC Universe in 2006 as a lesbian. Now she is stepping out of the closet into her own comic book title at years end. Recently 'Batwoman' has taken the lead in Detective Comics, while Bruce Wayne has been lost in time. Her starring role in that series was all part of DC’s strategy.The Great Amazon Comic Glitch of 2010 For one Saturday night, it seemed comic book nerds everywhere were getting some late night action. For about 12 hours, Amazon listed many of these ominbuses for $14.99. A huge discount off their normal going rates, which vary somewhere between $50 to $100.
