Before tomorrow's release of Captain America Reborn #1, Marvel Digital Comics has put up an Internet-exclusive, eight page prelude to the limited series' kickoff. Written (just like Reborn and Captain America, as well as many, many other books) by Ed Brubaker, and illustrated by Luke Ross, a new player enters the is-he-dead-or-isn't-he Captain America saga: H.A.M.M.E.R. director (and former Green Goblin) Norman Osborn, who extends the Thunderbolts' hand of friendship to the Red Skull's daughter (and key player in the Cap "assassination"), Sin.

Reborn is a five-issue series, with art by Bryan Hitch. The first issue will feature covers by Hitch, Alex Ross, John Cassaday, and Marvel EIC Joe Quesada.

There should still be plenty of issues of Captain America #600 floating around (since stories about Reborn focused far more on the limited series than #600), and since it sets the stage nicely for what's promised in Reborn, anyone interested would do well to pick up both at the comic shop tomorrow.
