It looks like we will get to see a new movie based on DC Comics. Director Jeffrey Blitz has began to put together a super documentary about the history of DC Comics and plans to premiere it at Comic-Con this year. This project was actually commissioned and encouraged by DC Comics. Blitz and his producing partner Sean Welch just started shooting the DC doc a little over a week ago. Welch said:

    “DC Comics contacted us and asked if we would do this.  Jeff and the director are comic book enthusiasts since they were kids and remain comic book enthusiasts.  So yes, we have access to their archives, their material, their covers, their panels, the creatives and the executives in the DC world.”

This could very well be the highlight of Comic-Con if it is done correctly and objectively. I bet we don't see anything about the 'Superman' copyright lawsuit.
