If you have played 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' then you are probably like everyone else and loved it. Now, you will have even more reason to love the Bat..because it will be flying right at you or at least it will seem to be.

If you haven't caught Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated show yet, you don't know what you're missing. The show does wonders at catching all the comic book appeal that many of us have grown up with. With the recent success of 'Batman: Arkham Asylum, WB has decided to ride that horse to the finish line when it releases 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold' videogame to the Nintendo Wii and DS consoles!

Warner Bros, the Time Warner-owned studio who own the DC Comics Universe, is hedging its bet on the video game industry by taking a majority stake in the London-based developer behind 'Batman: Arkham Asylum', Rocksteady Studios.

It doesn't matter if the first one sucked or not but as with every big-budget comic book movie release an "official video game" is tied right along with it. With the Iron Man 2 movie fast right around the corner, Sega is getting the word out on the sequels video game counter-part. In the newly released trailer, we can now see where maybe this game will fair better then the last..bring on the War Machine.

This week DC has announced two new bi-weekly series (Brightest Day and Justice League: Generation Lost), and today the publisher is adding a new weekly series to their arsenal,  DC Universe: Legends. Most of you have heard by now that DC Universe Online will be a massively multiplayer online action-RPG that will focus on putting players in the shoes of rookie heroes and villains, fighting alongside DC icons like Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and the Green Lantern. DC is now going to bridge the comic book and gaming audiences. They are working with SOE to construct a series that will help tell a core story and connect with gamers, giving them hints, strategies and even a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of the game.

It was likely to happen and during the opening of Spike's Video Game Award Show, it was announced Batman: Arkham Asylum it would be getting a sequel. The Joker dropped off a giant present for fans in attendance.

It looks like Superman, Batman and the rest of the heroes of the DC Universe are headed to Facebook. Mass Animation, the collaborative animation project headed by former Sony Digital topper Yair Landau, is launching a DC Universe Online Animation Contest on Facebook.

It is already a pre drawn conclusion to anyone following the lucrative comics-to-movies-to-games business, but Marvel's recent quarterly financial report (via Gamespot) confirmed it: Captain America and Thor will be getting their own video games in 2011. The two games are planned to arrive alongside the pair of summer movies based on the characters, with the Thor movie is currently shooting for a May of 2011 release date and The First Avenger: Captain America is scheduled to hit theaters in July of that same year.
