For years we have been hearing about a movie adaptation of the fastest man alive 'Flash.' Recently it had appeared that our red streak hero had taken a backseat to 'Batman', 'Superman' and the 'Green Lantern'. Luckily for us 'Flash' fans, IESB is reporting that there might be some movement on the film. Warner Bros has their eye on a director who could finally bring The Flash to theaters, and it’s Greg Berlanti.

Apparently Berlanti is at the top of the WB’s list of directing contenders thanks to his work on The Green Lantern movie, which he helped write alongside Marc Guggenheim. 'Green Lantern' is of course being directed by Martin Campbell but now the studio is eyeballing Berlanti for The Flash’s top position. If DC is wanting to bring 'The Justice League' to life then 'Flash' is going to have to run first.
