Ryan Reynolds doesn't worry about disappointing 'X-Men' fans with his next movie - because he is one himself. The 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' star is planning to work on a spin-off film for his character Deadpool and says he doesn't feel as much pressure to do it well because he knows what the franchise's devotees expect.

He said: "I'm one of them. I've always been a fan, at least for the last eight or nine years. I feel a bit of validation because I knew going into '...Wolverine' that there's a huge fanbase for this and I don't think anyone else did."

Although the movie is still in development, Ryan has promised that script writers intend to stay as close to the original comic book storyline as possible.

He added to Empire Online: "The studio's working on a script and trying to find a director. The main goal is to make sure it stays close to the source material."
