With all the superheroes flying around the movie businiss and news just running out about them there has been one that has stood silent. There is still little known about the upcoming 'The First Avenger: Captain America'. It seems that is about to change, though. Fangoria interviewed Johnston (Director) about the film, and described Johnston as "speaking from the art department of The First Avenger: Captain America, which he's readying for a June start."
The movie is set for a July 22, 2011 release date, which means they'll have to make very quick work to get it finished in time. Hopefully this won't rush the product and hurt the quality of the film. If they're keeping the same release date-- and remember, this has been set as part of a ton of Marvel films that will culminate in The Avengers-- then they'll have to start working quickly in the new year to get cast and crew put together. And that means we'll probably know shortly which hot young actor will wield the shield.
