Ever since a 'Captain America' movie was announced to be released in theaters we have heard our share of rumors. The lead for the role has been speculated from Matthew McConaughey to Will Smith and every actor in between. Now it looks like they are narrowing it down to the final few actors who are in the running.

Joe Johnston, director of the 'Captain America: First Avenger' has told Sci-Fi Wire  “We have a very short list, but we're still juggling actors here. I'd say within the next couple of weeks we'll have ourselves a Captain America, I hope.” While we still don't know the identities of the guys on the short list at least we now know that it is soon forth coming.
