Could 'Dane Cook' really be considered for the upcoming 'First Avenger: Captain America' movie. If Cook is twitting the truth on his Twitter account then it is true.

The twitted conversation went like this--
"@Marvel_Freshman r u really auditioning 4 Captain America? Dc: I did already. They might b goin young. I say go RDJr route-gimme the part!" Of course by RDjr he means 'Robert Downey Jr.'

If Dane Cook doesn't strike you as the 'Captain America' type you must only look as far as 'Ryan Reynolds.' Reynolds was a funny smart ass in films such as 'Buying the Cow' and 'Van Wilder'. Could Cook translate into a big budget comic book movie the same way as Reynolds? Hopefully we will never find out.
