Dave Taylor Art

British born Dave Taylor became a pro comic book artist in 1989, working on Zorro for Marvel UK (which featured covers by the legendary Alex Toth). This came after a career as a touring rock drummer...that went nowhere! He worked on a number of projects while at Marvel including Force Works, featuring Iron Man, but was head hunted by DC to work with Matt Wagner on Batman: The Riddle Factory. This lead to several Batman projects including working with Alan Grant on the Shadow Of The Bat series, designing Arkham Asylum for the "Bat Bible" and movies, Batman and Robin logos for the Warner Bros movie and more recently his collaboration with world renowned graphic designer and Batman aficionado Chip Kidd on Batman: Death by Design, a New York Times best seller (twice). His "adult only" series Tongue Lash, which evolved from his friendship with "Master of Comics" Jean Giraud (Moebius) sold out across the planet. After a short break from comics, working in the computer games industry, he returned with Judge Anderson: Big Robots for 2000AD, which he co-wrote with Alan Grant. He has also produced work on the Dr Who series for Titan, Prophet and Nowhere Men for Images Comics and others. His work has featured in Images Comics Studio Space, The Art of Judge Dredd and Masters of British Comic Art. Since then he has worked predominantly for 2000AD on numerous Judge Dredd stories and with Kenneth Niemand on the ground breaking best selling series Megatropolis.
