Will Jungkuntz Original Page Artwork for Marvel Fanfare Captain America 1986 very rare artwork

World of Superheroes
£1,000.00

A wonderful page from Marvel Fanfare by a very talented artist whose life was tragically cut short at just 30 years old. It's very rare that original artwork by Will comes up for sale, let alone one that features such a prominent character as Captain America. This is page 19 from issue 26.

Will's major influences were Frank Miller, who dedicated the first volume of "The Dark Knight" to him, and Howard Chaykin, as well as Neil Adams, who gave him his first job as a graphic designer with Continuity Graphics.

This is the original production artwork for the comic, not a copy or reprint. Graphite and ink on comic book artboard (270x415mm).

We have more original comic book art in our Original Comic Book Art collection.
