Painted in 1991 using predominantly gouache by comic book artist and writer John Higgins.

This is a unique piece of comic book history.

Painted on thick art paper, there are some small marks form storage, tape from production and a small piece missing from the top left corner that does not affect the artwork.

Size: Approx. 377 x 505mm

Higgins made himself a household name in the comic biz in the 80s for his colour work on Watchmen (for which he won a Mekon Award for best colourist in 1988) and Batman: The Killing Joke.
