Peter B. Smith
Pete Smith Started his art journey at 2000 AD in the mid 1990s as a comic strip colourist.
During his time at university, Pete shared a flat with the son of legendary comic artist Cam Kennedy. After seeing the quality of Kennedys work, Pete was convinced he wanted to give it a go himself but being (in his own words) "terrible at art" he was unsure what to do. After a few years of practicing, Pete discovered was blessed with a natural eye for colour and was able to get some scans of original art by Cam Kennedy to colour and build a portfolio to show prospective clients.
Displaying his portfolio at Glasgow Comic Con, Pete was approached by the editor for Judge Dredd Megazine who gave him his first job - colouring a Brian Bolland front cover! Since then, Pete has coloured hundred of pages of artwork for various 2000 AD publications.
