Carrie Fisher Due to Get a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Posted by Holly Clarkson

Carrie Fisher first graced our scenes as Princess Leia Organa back in 1977 in the first Star Wars. She then went on to star in four more Star Wars films before she sadly passed away in 2016.

She was a fan favourite for her strong independent character in the Star Wars movies as well as many more movie and TV appearances including my favourite voice part as Angela in Family Guy as Peter Griffins boss. The Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have announced that Fisher will be awarded a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood next year.

We love our head strong female characters here at World of Superheroes and we love our stunning original pieces of artwork by Artist Robert Bailey of images from some of her most famous scenes from the Star Wars franchise.

-We have recently added some movie posters from the Star Wars Franchise in our store.-
