The greatest hero. The purest hero. My favourite hero. Mute perfectly captures the essence of the first and most powerful hero, Superman, in this canvas. Christopher Reeve’s portrayal of the all-powerful but innocent and naive hero is the quintessential Man of Steel. I met Christopher in America after his tragic riding accident and as gracious and positive as he was, the irony of Superman or this superman who played him, being confined to a wheelchair was heartbreaking. Godspeed Christopher. You made me believe a man can fly.
