Jim Lee Inspired Batman Statue Unveiled in California


Batman has been in comics for 81 years after being introduced to the world in DC Comics Detective #28 by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, 81 years later he is one of the most loved fictional characters in history, he has inspired adults and children alike with his selfless acts of bravery against his enemies.

It is a huge seven-and-a-half-foot bronze sculpture of the Dark Knight based on Jim Lee's Batman: Hush series from the noughties. The statue can be seen at Burbank’s AMC Walkway in California and was created by Digital Sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra.
