LEGO Batman Bath Bombs
Looking through some craft ideas to do if the kids are stuck inside on a rainy day or even if you fancy making some to fill those stockings this Christmas. I found this on 'See Vanessa Craft' and it looks messy and great fun for any age. You just need to get a mold and a few ingredients but you can make it smell how you want with different oils and different colours. Joker Green, Harley Quinn Red, you can be as creative and unique as you want, the kids will love getting messy with these and you can add any plastic toy you want but obviously LEGO characters fit great.
Ingredients
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup Epsom salts
3/4 cup corn starch
1 teaspoon water
2 teaspoon peppermint essential oil (Personal choice)
3 teaspoon olive oil
5-10 drops food coloring (Your Choice)
bath bomb molds
Obviously make sure anyone making or using the bombs isn't allergic to any of these ingredients above, substitutes or other recipes will be online elsewhere.
Quick & Easy Recipe
Just combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salts and corn starch together in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the water, peppermint oil, olive oil and your choice of food colouring. Combine the wet with the dry ingredients, using a whisk or spoon. Mix until the ingredients are smooth then after 10 minutes, remove the bath bomb from the molds and allow to completely dry and harden overnight. There you go easy peasy, put in water or a bath and leave to dissolve to magically present your surprise. If anyone makes these we'd love to see them, share them via our social media.
