We have some extremely exciting artwork in by comic book legend Dave Taylor which will be posted on the site presently.
For anyone who hasn't heard of Taylor, he became a pro comic book artist in 1989, working on Zorro for Marvel UK (which featured covers by the legendary Alex Toth). He worked on a number of projects while at Marvel including Force Works, featuring Iron Man, but was headhunted by DC to work with Matt Wagner on Batman: The Riddle Factory. This led to several Batman projects including working with Alan Grant on the Shadow Of The Bat series, designing Arkham Asylum for the "Bat Bible" and movies, Batman and Robin logos for the Warner Bros movie and more recently his collaboration with world-renowned graphic designer and Batman aficionado Chip Kidd on Batman: Death by Design, a New York Times bestseller (twice).
After a short break from comics, working in the computer games industry, he returned with Judge Anderson: Big Robots for 2000AD, which he co-wrote with Alan Grant. Since then he has worked predominantly for 2000AD on numerous Judge Dredd stories and with Kenneth Niemand on the groundbreaking best-selling series Megatropolis.
We have some artwork from issues #1 to #5 from the Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor series, Batman and Robin Logo concept art (from the 1990's), 2000AD Judge Dredd series, Batman: Arkham Asylum - Tales of Madness and more... Watch this space!
We have more comic book art from Dave Taylor, Dave Gibbons and other comic book artists in our Original Comic Book Art collection.
