Here's our first look at Tyler Hoechlin in the New Superman Costume for The CW's Up-coming Superman and Lois series.

Although it's just a new suit to most, to a lot of fans it is a very important symbol that reflects Superman and his actions. Actor Tyler Hoechlin, who first hit the limelight in the US series Teen Wolf playing heartthrob Werewolf Derek Hale, will be carrying on his more recent role of Superman in the Arrow-Verse in the up-coming Superman and Lois series.

In a recent interview about the new Superman suit we will see in the series, Hoechlin opened up about how he feels about the suit, it seems he really is a great choice for the role as his response is truly warming:

“I find that the new suit is representative of the show, Just as this suit is unique and set apart from the ones that preceded it, the story we’re telling about Clark/Superman at this point in his life is unique and something we’ve never seen before. I appreciate the opportunity to wear the suit and the responsibility that comes with it.”

The series as Hoechlin has said above will show Superman at different stage of life to what we have seen on screen before, Fatherhood. As well as Elizabeth Tulloch co-headlining the series as Lois Lane, Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin will also co-star as the duo’s sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.

“I’ve always felt that the suit doesn’t belong to me, It belongs to everyone that finds some kind of meaning in that suit, in the symbol on the chest. I just happen to be the one wearing it. I come from the world of baseball and a line of coaches that always preached that the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the one on the back. Because when you wear that jersey, it represents not only you, but your entire team, and everyone that has ever worn that jersey that came before you. So when I wear the suit, that’s what it means to me. It represents everything that Superman stands for and has stood for, for almost a century now. And I look forward to carrying on that tradition.”

This show has a lot to live up to for me as I have very fond memories sat watching the 90's Lois and Clark series starring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher with my Father as a child and loved every minute. The up-coming Superman and Lois series is due to air on The CW on February 23rd 2021.

If they are not out saving the world, we often lend our lifesize superhero figures to charitable events, free of charge of course, to generate interest and footfall.

People love superheroes.

Understanding this, when a local retailer who owned a framing and picture gallery business, told us that although he had great product and sales staff, he just couldn’t get people into his store. One of our marketing guys suggested he put a small superhero display in his shop window. We loaned him an Iron Man Statue, an Iron Man canvas and a vintage Iron Man comic in a perspex display case. In the first month, customers entering the store increased by 300%.

The moral to this tale is; SUPERHEROES = FOOTFALL. Superheroes will get people in your store, what you do once they’re in there is up to you.

News came over the weekend that one of the forces strongest wielders has sadly passed away.

British Actor David Prowse, known mainly for his stunning performance as Darth Vader in the Star Wars movies has died age 85 over the weekend. Although  James Earl Jones voiced the iconic villain, Prowse was the Man behind the mask.

We had the great pleasure of Prowse attending a WOScon event we held in Sheffield back in 2015 where he met and signed for fans. He was a great character and will be forever remembered as bringing the most famous to life on screen.

Some very talented animators have reimagined The Batman trailer making it completely out of LEGO.

Scene by scene they have edited the up-coming 'The Batman' movie die out in 2022 using LEGO characters. I do love LEGO Batman and this is an R-Rated version I don't think we would ever get to see on the big screen so thank you! And if the new film is a flop, you can do the whole movie and post it on youtube!
